Since I work about 2 blocks away from my apartment I almost always walk to work. The Trans Am occasionally gets driven to get groceries and the Miata mostly sits in the garage.

But now that I’m working from home, any excuse to get out of the apartment means a drive in the Miata.

Don’t want macaroni for the 3rd time this week? Miata to a fast food joint.

Need groceries so we don’t have macaroni for the rest of the week? Miata to the grocery store.

Exhausted by a 1960’s synagogue renovation project at work that is wildly more complex than you could’ve ever predicted? Miata to the park so you can unwind.

I never got around to taking my autocross tires off last year, so I’m still on very worn 200TW tires.

Man, I saw this amazing soul red Miata RF while doing laps  around the park. The red that Mazda’s using is insanely beautiful. I had to stop and say hello.

I’m only getting out around once a week ( at most) for drives, and I have generally been going after 9pm when the roads are even more empty than usual.
